Deathtrap takes place in the study of playwright Sidney Bruhl. The play takes several surprising twists and turns with a lot of foreshadowing and sinister events.
This design set out to create a dark, sinister and unnerving room that fits the playwright's description of "a handsomely converted stable grafted onto an authentic colonial home" in Westport, Connecticut.
